Our sessions will be

  • Personalized

    Work one-on-one with your own personal dietitian to co-create an individualized three page Eating Guide that takes into consideration unique needs and nutrition goals. We work with via a secure online telehealth platform called “Healthie”, e-mail, and phone. Client has 1.5- 2 hr for the Initial Meeting and 45 min-1 hr for each of the 3 follow ups over a 3 month time period. Included in the plan is bi-weekly feedback on their photo food journals and messages. Clients receive nutrition education, recipes, meal/snack ideas, and a free e-copy of the 60 page NGP Resource Book. Consults with the client’s care team (ie: counselor, therapist or medical team) are included in this plan. Fee for the Package plan is $495

  • Targeted

    Everyone is different and finding what works for you is the most important part of my job. While I do favor a plant based dietary approach, I always meet clients where they’re at and encourage a variety of healthy eating approaches. Having a good relationship with food and your body is the most important goal.

  • Integrative

    Weight changes, recovering from injuries, preventing diseases and other wellness goals all take an integrative approach. You need many tools in your toolbox. Certainly diet is one part, but I help guide clients towards other helpful practices such as meditation, mindful eating, herbs and plant medicine, strategic supplements, and helping to connect you with highly educated, credentialed trainers.

How do i find out if emily is the right fit for me or my child:

Finding the right dietitian for your unique needs is essential. Dietitians have different specialty areas. I have specific training in specific areas, I’m not the right fit for everyone. We can start by email non-sensitive information. If there’s sensitive medical info you’d like to share, we will set up a 15 min phone consult to discuss. Don’t send private medical info via email.

Emily’s areas of expertise are in weight management, athletic performance, wellness, vegan/vegetarian nutrition, teens, Women’s healthy aging, food allergies, celiac disease, and disordered eating.    She sees clients for these nutritional concerns exclusively via Telehealth nutrition counseling or wellness coaching.

Do you take insurance?:

No, I do not take insurance. All payments are made on the Healthie system that is secure and HIPAA compliant.

what are your fees?

Nutrition consulting or counseling is by package plan only. $495

Online, live Zoom classes and workshops are $200 each. There are discounts for multiple workshops by the same organization.

The 45 minute videos “Nutrition for Great Performances” and “Real Dancers Eat” are based off of classes Emily has taught live and are $15/ each. Contact Emily for more information. Soon they will be available to download directly from this site.

Do you give out meal plans or dietary plans via email?

No, all dietary plans are personalized after conducting a nutrition assessment, and are uploaded to your Healthie docs. No protected health information is sent via email. Everything is HIPAA compliant.

how do I schedule an appointment?

All scheduling is done via email. Please contact me through the contact page.

I do not work Fridays or Sundays. I work some afternoons, most evenings and Saturday mornings/ early afternoon. Please be aware that working with a dietitian is no different than going to the doctor or dentist, you will have to sometimes miss school/ dance/ work in order to make a nutrition appointment. Your nutrition is worth the investment.
